March 2024 was a great month for EFHC-1. So far, it's been a tough road as we try to grow our influence and reach more people with our message. Since we launched in 2022 we've often wondered whether we will be successful in "gathering the scattered saints" to restore the pattern an power of the early Ekklesia. People have come and left which is always disappointing.

But, as always, just as things begin to seem hopeless, God sends encouragement. Last month, we had our first convert: an old friend who reconnected by Facebook. This occurred via Zoom (remember Zoom?). What a blessing as we went through our "Born Again" page with her and saw her baptized a week later, on Palm Sunday.

Then, on Easter Sunday, we witnessed 31 inmates of Heritage Trail get baptized. I (Joseph) had just connected with Kairos of Indiana, a ministry to incarcerated prisoners and their families. These inmates now are part of their own Ekklesia (though no affiliation with EFHC-1) within the prison. In all my years I've never had the chance to see so many baptisms at the same event. It was awesome! Praise God!
